View out the hotel window. I think all these buildings retain the original 1890’s lead-flake based paint, because this is exactly how the city looked on our first visit in ’98.

Sheep! Nothing to do with anything- my friend Jennifer and her boyfriend Blake have ajacent property on Sauvie Island. This is one of Blake’s primordial “hair” sheep.
