CYMBALISTIC: Talking about Cymbal & Gong cymbals a little bit, and my Extra Special Janavar line in particular, and playing this 22″ cymbal, “Christine.” That cymbal has been hanging around in my stock awhile, for no good reason. I think somebody should take it and use it, it’s a great, lighter weight cymbal, good for softer playing or combo playing, as dynamically as you want to play it.

By now you may know that the Extra Special Janavar was something I had them do in 2022, doing more traditional rough/funky hammering and lathing with their Janavar series. They’ve been one of my top items ever since.
UPDATE: I did a similar video for the 22″ American type Holy Grail “Mick.” I have a pair of cymbals like this one, that have been in stock awhile. Somebody should really grab them, anyone wanting a slightly funky, bigger sound in a jazz cymbal.
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: This cymbal has been sold. I do have a similar one, named “Rita.”
