One of my stupidly-named rudiment variations from 2011 here, without the original superfluous hyphen. In this spelling it might entice some people to say para-DID-lee-ah, of which I approve.
It’s a five note paradiddle, RLRRL. With this late round of posts we’re putting these rudiments into some different rhythms, and combining them in some interesting ways. One of the duller activities on the planet is just playing a pattern with the accents falling on the 1 2 3 4 like an idiot, laying it some different ways against the click gives it more dimension.

Play these starting with the left hand as well. Number 17 is kind of jive, I confess— I’ve been playing out of Chaffee a lot this week. You can do the last one pyramid-style, adding another measure of triplets at the end.
I’ll likely do a stream of this tomorrow— my video apparatus is close to happening, I’m just finessing the sound.
