UPDATE: I’ve rewritten this page in standard roll/drag notation— in 16th notes in 2/4. You can use the page here as a key if there’s any question of how to interpret it.
Basic page of open drags and rolls. A million exercises out there like this, this is a form a couple of my students could use it in, right now.

Alternating sticking except for the double strokes. Pretty straightforward, around here we play both notes of the double, no fancy finger technique involved. Anticipate which hand(s) the double strokes fall on. Goal tempo for normal school playing is about half note = 126. You can also start it with you left hand.
I am happy to help you with any of the materials on the site, and with anything else drumming related— contact me for private lessons, online world wide, or in person in Portland, Oregon. All levels of players, and all people, are welcome.
