What it says, a page of warm ups for working out the coordination playing a samba with both hands in unison:

Do these, then get into the normal materials— the rhythms in any Brazilian drumming book, or my book, or the pages of rhythm I’ve posted here, or Syncopation.
The given tempo range is quarter note = 120-260, I think most often you would use this approach in the faster tempos, maybe an immediate goal would be 180-208, then getting it up to 240. By the time you get it there you’ll have your own tempo goals, I think beyond about 270 you’re definitely on your own.
I am happy to help you with any of the materials on the site, and with anything else drumming related— contact me for private lessons, online world wide, or in person in Portland, Oregon. All levels of players, and all people, are welcome.
