The paradiddle version and the triplet roll alternate version are a type of sticking I use a lot— basically they’re rolls starting with a single note at the same rate as the body of the roll. On the first triplet roll version there’s a little space between the tap and the body of the roll; my hip way the tap is integrated with the roll.
