More fun with waltzes

I’ve been using these
Elvin’s Afro-Waltz things almost daily in my practicing since I started writing them, and they’re working really great for me, so here’s a new one. This uses the same concept as the previous posts: we take what is basically a 6/8  feet part along with a jazz waltz cymbal pattern, and add some left hand parts. The actual pattern came up in my practicing today, and we’re moving away from things I pulled directly out of Elvin’s playing, so I’ve changed the name.

I highly recommend practicing these with the tom moves I outlined before– when doing those you have the option of doing the snare notes as rim clicks.
